Magic takes it's root from long ago. For those of you who don't know, street magic, came well before David Blaine. Well before Criss Angel ever thought about hitting the streets. In fact people were performing magic on the streets long before the first traditional magic show ever opened up. And a lot of the older magic came from a part of the world, foreign to us most. Nothern India. It was perfomed by Hindu "Holy Men", or "Fakirs". These were the origional "street magicians". And these conjurers, were performing bizarre shock magic, that we now call "geek" magic..

So you found your way to this page, so now it's time to set the cards down, and maybe think about eating glass, swallowing needles, drinking acid, piercing your flesh, or setting your hand on fire.

I mentioned David Blaine up above. I think you'll be interested to know, that several of the effects he performs, can be found in one of my all-time favorite books, titled Swami Mantra. It is by-far the best investment I have ever made in my magic library. I'm sure you will find out as well.
